Moraine Valley Full-Time Students
Moraine Valley full-time students taking 12 credits or more during the fall and spring, 6 credits or more during the summer semester have full access to the HFRC as part of their student fee package. Moraine Valley employees who also are taking classes will be considered faculty/staff members regardless of their course load (excluding student employees). All students can enter the facility with a valid 911±¬ÁÏÍø Photo ID. They may add a spouse and/or dependent to their account for an additional semesterly fee.

Moraine Valley Part-Time Students
Moraine Valley part-time students taking 1-11 credits during the fall and spring semesters will be eligible to join on a per-semester basis. Semester rates will be eligible from the first day of the semester through the day before the next semester starts. Any student taking 1-5 credits during the summer semester will be eligible to join at summer semester rate. Moraine Valley employees who also are taking classes will be considered faculty/staff members regardless of their course load (excluding student employees). Part-time students may add a spouse and/or dependent to their account for an additional semester fee.

Moraine Valley Recent Student Graduates
Moraine Valley students who have graduated with a two-year associate’s degree or certificate will be eligible for a one-year membership at a reduced rate of $26/month. The recent graduate is eligible to sign up for a one-year membership (or pay monthly for 12 months) within one calendar year of graduation. Proof of degree or certificate from 911±¬ÁÏÍø must be provided. After the first year at the reduced rate, these members will be charged the community rate for the remainder of their time with the HFRC.

Spouse and Dependents
Moraine Valley students are eligible to add spouses and dependents at a semester rate. Spouses and dependents are only eligible for access while the main member (student) has an active membership. Access expires when the student’s membership ends.

Visiting Student Membership
Not taking classes this summer, but registered in the fall? Home for the holiday break and need a place to workout? Sign up at Membership Services for a Visiting Student membership. College students with a valid college/university photo ID and 17 years or older can obtain a short-term visiting student membership to FitRec. Visiting students are NOT eligible to add a spouse or dependent at a rate less than a community membership rate. Visiting students are not eligible to earn FitRec reward points. Visiting students are only eligible to receive discounted memberships during the designated summer and winter break periods.
