One Day Certificates

The objective of this course is to provide formal training in the correct use and safety procedures of operating powered industrial forklift trucks.

This course is designed to fulfill OSHA鈥檚 requirement that only trained and authorized operators shall be permitted to operate powered industrial trucks.

Certificate Programs

The program is designed to align with Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) standards for the Certified Logistics Associate (CLA). This course covers the core competency areas required for high-skilled, front-line material handling workers across all supply chain facilities. Upon completion, students will be assessed for the foundation level Certified Logistics Associate credential.

40 hours inclusive of certification exam that covers the following topics:

  • Global supply chain logistics life cycle
  • Logistics environment
  • Material handling equipment
  • Safety principles
  • Safe material handling and equipment operation
  • Quality control principles
  • Workplace communications
  • Teamwork and workplace behavior to solve problems
  • Using computers

This course covers the core competency areas required for mid-level, high-performance material handling workers across all supply chain facilities. Topics include product receiving and storage, order processing, packaging and shipment, inventory control, transportation, and metrics.

聽The program is aligned with Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) standards for Certified Logistics Technicians (CLT). Upon completion, students will be assessed for the Certified Logistics.

Class A license is one of the most practical and popular licenses for new drivers. This certification opens the door to a higher salary and numerous opportunities for advancement in your field.

The "Class A" License 160-Hour Certification

40 hours of classroom training preparing you to complete the state written exam

120 hours of experience driving in the yard, on local streets, highways and interstate roads which includes both behind the wheel and observation time.

This application-based program offers seven courses that provide an in-depth study into supply chain management and logistical systems. Key topics covered include core business/industry content. Students will address both domestic and global issues in supplier and customer relations, value-added product differentiation, cost management, and the basic professional skills required to succeed within this industry. Other topics include supply chain networks, operations, cargo security, and warehousing and distribution. These courses have been designed based on current industry needs and in consultation with logistics and supply chain leaders. Students participating in this program will gain background for mid-level positions or, if currently employed in the industry, enhanced professional knowledge and career advancement potential.
