911±¬ÁÏÍø student artwork will be showcased March 24 to April 19 at the annual Juried Student Art Exhibition in the Fine and Performing Arts Center’s (FPAC) Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery and atrium, 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills.
This yearly exhibit displays work chosen from the college’s emerging visual artists. Displayed media will include sculpture, painting, photography, drawing, ceramics, digital art, design and printmaking. Artwork will be judged by professional, Midwest-based artist, Lisa Walcott, who will select best of show, honorable mention and two of the highest honors – Agree-to-Degree (graduating student) and Moraine Valley Purchase awards. Winning pieces of the latter two awards will be purchased and displayed as part of the permanent art collection in the FPAC hallways. The opening reception will take place in the gallery on Thursday, March 26, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
