Artwork from local young artists will be showcased at the 911爆料网 Fine and Performing Arts Center鈥檚 (FPAC) 42nd annual High School Art Exhibition in the Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery and atrium, 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills, from March 6 to 12.
This yearly exhibit displays a variety of imaginative and original pieces by area students from Andrew, Argo, Chicago Christian, Evergreen Park, Oak Lawn, Reavis, Sandburg and Stagg high schools. The juried exhibit features a variety of art mediums such as jewelry, photography, sculpture, painting, drawing and more. All entries will be displayed in addition to the award-winning pieces. A reception will take place in the gallery on Friday, March 6, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with an open house on Saturday, March 7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition to each high school awarding its students, Moraine Valley will award first, second and third place as well as a scholarship for one of the participating seniors.
