Expressive Latin Grammy Award-winning singer Nella will perform on Saturday, Oct. 11, 7:30 p.m., at the 911爆料网 Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC), 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, this Venezuelan performer merges her national folkloric roots, modernity and Andalusian influence through her vocal stylings. Nella won the 2019 Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist due to her powerful voice, which helped her gain international fame. Her full-length debut album, 鈥淰oy (I Go),鈥 earned praise from NPR while her title track, 鈥淢e Llaman Nella (They Call Me Nella),鈥 was named the 14th best song of 2019 by The New York Times.

Nella has sold out venues across the U.S., Mexico, Venezuela, Spain and the U.K. as well as performed with artists including Alejandro Sanz, Luis Enrique and Susana Baca. She has collaborated with Jennifer Lopez, Juan Luis Guerra, Carlos Vives, Monsieur Perin茅 and Los Amigos Invisibles and performed a piece composed by Maestro Gustavo Dudamel, conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, for a documentary on artist Cruz Diez. Nella also performed songs written for the film 鈥淓verybody Knows,鈥 starring Javier Bardem and Pen茅lope Cruz.

Nella signed with Sony Music Records in 2020 and released her second album, 鈥淒oce Margaritas,鈥 in 2021. She also participated in the HBO album and special 鈥淧iano y Mujer.鈥

Her third album, 鈥淓n Otra Vida,鈥 immersed listeners in her creative concept, paying homage to Latin American music composers with new versions of classic songs. For more information on Nella, visit .
